Four-year-old boy mauled to death by leopard in Budgam | KNO

Budgam, Sep 30 (KNO): A four-year-old non-local boy was mauled to death by a leopard in the Najan area of Beerwah in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday evening. An official informed the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the boy from Bihar was living with his family, who were working at a local brick kiln. The leopard attacked him near the kiln during the evening hours. Following the incident, wildlife officials launched a major operation to capture the leopard. The boy’s body will be handed over to his family after completing the necessary legal formalities, the official said—(KNO)
